We at Fusion were very happy that one of Londons largest and most well known fit out contractors selected our double glazed Contempo Glide pocket door system for their head office refurbishment.
Fusion’s double glazed Contempo Glide Pocket sliding door system was selected due to its spa
ce saving properties and high acoustic rating of 47dB Rw. The limited amount of space available to create much needed private conversation rooms meant that the swing of a standard hinged or pivoted door would eat too much into the useable space within each room.
Our Contempo Glide sliding pocket door retracts neatly into the glazing cavity leaving the entire floor space within each room available for office furniture.
Fusion were also asked to supply some floor to ceiling stand alone double glazed screens (double glazed for continuity only, not for acoustics).
Glass end caps were utilised for these stand alone double glazed units giving a “Fish Tank” effect, this meant there was no need for vertical aluminium channels to cap off the double glazing cavity.
