Fusion Partitions have recently completed a major project for an international pharmaceutical company at Stockley Park.
The challenge was to design, extrude and deliver a bespoke transom for inclusion in an onsite mock up within six weeks. The ceiling height of 3400mm required a bespoke solution to accommodate the Clear Single Glazed system using 12.8mm acoustic glass and the Contempo acoustic door. Thus allowing the 40dB(Rw) (laboratory tested) to be maintained across the door and partition.
The Contempo acoustic door range continues to grow and we will be launching our newest addition, Contempo Glide, in early November. Contempo Glide is an innovative single glazed system which provides four edge cover on its sliding door, resulting in improved acoustic insulation, using either 12mm toughened or 12.8mm acoustic glass.
We will be carrying out acoustic laboratory tests during October on both permutations.
